Welcome to the 2011 - 2012 School Year!
Please carefully read the descriptions below as they will assist you in navigation of the website and facilitate finding the information that you are seeking.  Once you have located what you want, select the desired page tab above.

Important Information:  This page informs and explains information pertinent to the current week.  Here you will find updates on what's going on in class, tips for studying and preparing for class activities, special request to parents and any other miscellaneous items that are deemed important.

Physical Science 8th:  This is where you will find downloadable copies of handouts, notes and study material in addition to some of the videos viewed in class.  Students and parents are encouraged to use this page as a resource for make up work during an absence as well as reinforcement of class work that may require follow-up.  There is a secondary page tab for assignments and due dates.

Life Science 7th:  This is where you will find downloadable copies of handouts, notes and study material in addition to some of the videos viewed in class.  Students and parents are encouraged to use this page as a resource for make up work during an absence as well as reinforcement of class work that may require follow-up.  There is a secondary page tab for assignments and due dates.

Science Fair:  Participation in the science fair is mandatory for 8th grade (optional for 7th grade).  This page offers information, links and downloads pertinent to all paperwork necessary for the journey through the first semester science fair project.  The University of Georgia runs the fair in our state; here you will find a link to the site that contains a full copy of the ISEF Rulebook/Guidelines.  There is also a link to this in my glog.

Science Olympiad:  Websites and information about events/competitons for participants on the school team.

Links:  Websites that are useful through out the year are found on this page.  These sites complement assignments and homework as well as review key concepts from the current topics.  The list will be updated as needed based on the curriculum being covered at the time.

Emails are welcomed and encouraged if there is a need for further information.  My email address is:
